Mega Millions or Powerball has been added to my state games. How do I update Lotto Pro to add these games?

Click on the Windows Start button and select Program Files|Lotto Pro|Update Lotto Pro.

Why am I able to download drawing results updates but the list in Lotto Pro doesn't update?

In version 7.54 and higher we changed the location of the the Lotto Pro data folders so as to comply with Windows Vista and Windows 7 standards.

You are most likely using an older version of Lotto Pro that is still using the old location for the drawing files.

To resolve the problem you should download and install the latest version of Lotto Pro.

Why are my ticket files, bet slip definitions and winnings data missing after installing version 7.54 or higher?

In version 7.54 and higher we changed the location of the the Lotto Pro data folders so as to comply with Windows Vista and Windows 7 standards.

The data folders were previously located in the program files folder at c:\program files\windows lotto pro 2000\data.

You can see where your new Lotto Pro data folders are located by selecting "About Lotto Pro 2010" in the Lotto Pro 2010 Help menu.

You need to manually copy any ticket files (.tic) from the Lotto Pro program folder at c:\program files\windows lotto pro 2000 to your new Data folder

You need to copy your bet slip definitions (.def) from the Lotto Pro data folder at c:\program files\windows lotto pro 2000\data\ to your new Data folder. You can also download the bet slip defintions.

You need to copy your winnings files (lotowins.dbf and lotowins.nsx) from the program folder at c:\program files\windows lotto pro 2000 to your new Winnings folder.

You need to copy any wheels that you have added from the program folder at c:\program files\windows lotto pro 2000\wheels\to your new Wheels folder.

Why is Lotto Pro not working correctly in Windows Vista or Windows 7?

Recommend that you download and install the latest version of Lotto Pro 2010.

Why will Lotto Pro not open when I click on the Lotto Pro icon?

Some programs such as AdAware can cause a conflict with Lotto Pro. It may be necesaary to temporarily close AdAware when opening Lotto Pro.

Why am I unable to download up-to-date drawing files?

If you are a registered user of Lotto Pro, make sure that you have entered your user name and password correctly.

If you are using an Internet security program such as Zone Alarm, Norton Security or the Windows firewall, you need to disable it while downloading the update or configure it allow FTP access to the update program (PROUPDT.EXE).

To disable the Windows firewall, click on Network Connections. Right click on the Local area Connection icon and select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and uncheck the Internet Connection Firewall option.

To configure Zone Alarm, select Program Control. Select the entry for proupdt.exe. In the Access column, allow access for Trusted and Internet.

If you are trying to download between 7am and 8am EST, you may not be able to connect because during this time period we update the drawings for the previous day and perform system maintenance.

My country's lotto game(s) are not included in Lotto Pro . Can I still use the program?

Yes, you can. You should create drawing file for the lotto games in your country using the File|New|Drawing File menu command in Lotto Pro.

Make sure that you select Other for the country when you create the drawing file(s).

After you have created the drawing file(s), use the Add, Modify or Delete Drawings option to add the last 50 drawings.

How do I edit or print a ticket file after it has been saved?

You should select the "Apply Filters to Tickets" option in the Tickets menu.

What should I do if there is no bet slip definition for the game that I play?

First, check to make sure that the game is not listed in our bet slip definition files.

If the game is not listed, we will create the definition file for you if you send us 25 to 30 blank bet slips for the game.

You should send the bet slips to Data Solutions, P.O. Box 1067, Polk City, FL 33868. There is no charge for the service.How should the bet slips be inserted in my printer?

The stack of bet slips should be inserted vertically into your printer, with panel A of the bet slips going into the printer first. Slide the left paper guide of your printer up against the stack of bet slips to hold them in place while printing.

What should I do if my printer only allows me to insert the bet slips in the center of the printer?

Select the Bet Slip Properties menu command in the Edit menu. Enter a negative value for the Boxes Right Margin.Keep increasing the negative value until the boxes print correctly in the center.

What should I do if the boxes don't print exactly where they should on the bet slip?

Select the Bet Slip Properties menu command in the Edit menu. Change the value of the Boxes Top Margin and/or Boxes Right Margin by a small amount. Click the Test button after each change. Repeat the process until the slips print correctly.

When I play a Pick-3 or Pick-4 game in Lotto Pro, why doesn't the program give repeating numbers on the tickets when I play Smart numbers?

If you uncheck one or more of the numbers picked as Smart numbers, some of your tickets will have repeating numbers.
